Qatar Steel celebrates loyalty of 162 employees at Long Service Awards Ceremony

Qatar Steel recently held a Long Service Awards Ceremony for 162 employees to thank them for their dedicated service to the Company.  Employee with a range of service between 10 to 30 years were acknowledge for  their contributions to the development of the Company and enhancing its leading  position in  steel industry, both locally and abroad.  . Since Qatar Steel’s inception, this appreciation has been part of its approach recognising those who support its success and carry its vision for the future.

Qatar Steel’s Managing Director & CEO Mr Abdulrahman Ali Al-Abdulla led the ceremony, accompanied by Qatar Steel’s Chiefs and Departmental Managers.

On the special occasion, Mr Abdulrahman Ali Al-Abdulla paid tribute to the efforts of the recognised employees for their valuable contribution to the in boosting the Company is standing and contributions to the national economy and Qatar’s burgeoning growth.  .“Through this recognition, Qatar Steel is keen to spread awareness of the concepts of outstanding performance, creativity and quality”, he said, “It also aims to promote a culture of excellence, which reflects the Company’s appreciation for the performance of outstanding employees and encouraging and motivating them with a view to fostering positive competition among employees on various levels. We, further, seek to create an environment of creativity and raise the level of employees’ performance in a way that contributes to achieving the company’s goals, mission and aspirations.”

“The annual Long Service Awards Ceremony is a demonstration of Qatar Steel’s great commitment to its workforce as the Company’s most important asset. While we were not able to hold the ceremony during the last two years due to the Covid-19 related restrictions, our recognition of and pride in our long-service employees did not stop during those two years. Thanks to the innovative and resilient methods, which we put in place during that time, we ensured the continuity of effective performance and the development and motivation the capabilities of the company’s employees at various levels. While this event is an expression of the Company’s appreciation for our employees, who have spent many  years at  Qatar Steel, it also represents a positive message and an incentive for the new generation of the company’s employees to continue the commitment and dedication and to take the Company’s vision and mission to broader and higher horizons”, added Qatar Steel Managing Director & CEO.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Qatar Steel Managing Director & CEO Mr Abdulrahman Ali Al-Abdulla honoured the long-service employees for their distinguished service throughout the years.
