Mr. Al-Hajri hold a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from Qatar University, and received his Master’s degree in Gas Engineering from University of
Salford, United Kingdom.
Mr. AL-Hajri brings a wealth of experience, cumulated over more than twenty six (26) years of services in Qatar Petroleum (QP). He held different leadership roles in QP and his last position was Executive Vice President Downstream Directorate and Vice Chairman of Industries Qatar (IQ). He is currently the Vice Chairman of Qatar Fuel-Woqod and the Chairman of Ras Girtas Power Company.
In May 2018, he was appointed as the Managing Director (MD) and CEO of Qatar Steel Company.
