In culmination of the persistent efforts to protect the environment, and recycle the industrial wastes,resulted from steel manufacturing, for better reuse and reinvestment, and within the framework of consolidating and strengthening the co-operation ties between Qatar Steel and the private sector, Qatar Steel has signed a sale and recycling slag contract with Slag Aggregate Producer (S.A.P), located in Doha. The sale contract was signed by Mr. Ali Bin Hassan Al-Murakhi, Director and General Manager of Qatar Steel, and Sheikh Khaled Bin Hamad Bin Jassim Al-Thani, Managing Director of SAP. To commemorate the completion of the 6- months training program given by Qatar Steel to the second batch of Saudi South Steel trainees, a celebration was held at Doha Mariette Hotel, with the attendance of HE Mr. Hindi Bin Nayef Bin Humaid, Advisor of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in the State of Qatar.
