The aim of the event was to familiarize Qatari graduates with the job opportunities available and the academic qualifications required, as well as to brief them about the training programs provided. A team from HR and Training & Development Departments met the students and responded to their questions and queries. On the World Blood Donors’ Day, a blood donor recognition ceremony was held by Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), at St. Regis Hotel- Doha, under the patronage of HE Abdulla Bin Khaled Al-Qahtani, Minister of Public Health. Qatar Steel was one of the national companies who were honored for co-sponsoring the blood donors’ recognition ceremony, and also in appreciation for their role and valuable contributions to support and launch blood donation drives for their employees.
